What other countries and even cities in the USA have already learned, even before the Boston Marathon bombing, is you ban all backpacks in the areas where large amounts of people congregate like at the finishing line of a marathon! This is a simple solution for a potential huge problem.

So why wasn’t this simple security operation performed in Boston prior to the backpack bombing? The citizenry should be asking that question of their local leaders and politicians.

Moreover, the citizenry also needs to always be more vigilant because when security breaks down citizens have to be more aware of what goes on around them. Because Israel has had so many bombings in the past a common practice there is if anyone sees anyone leave anything on the ground and leave or if they see anyone get out of a car and mysteriously leave anywhere near large groups of people the citizens are known for immediately letting authorities know what just happened and they also try to get a good description of who committed the suspicious act. Consequently, you do not hear of many bombings in Israel any longer.

What is disturbing about the video shown of the two backpack bombers walking through the crowd at the finish line at the Boston marathon is about half of the people there, the techno-slaves, had their faces pointing downward fixated on their cell phones and could not have noticed anything unless it hit them on the head! It is sad to always see so many techno-slaves hunched over their cell phones most everywhere you go these days as the big beautiful world passes them by. Philosophers will tell you that techno-slavery chooses you. You do not choose techno-slavery.

Every gun show in America allows anyone to walk in and buy any kind of gun they want, even assault weapons, and no background check is necessary and you can walk out of the gun show with any amount of weapons you so choose. Too often these same weapons are finding their way to Mexico and being used to commit crimes, including murder. This is one reason why the murder rate is so high in Mexico today.

The trick is finding out the right person to buy the guns from at the gun show. At every gun show in America there are gun dealers as well as private citizens selling guns. The gun dealers are forced, by law, to put you through a criminal background check before they can sell you a gun. However, a private citizen can also sell guns at a booth at your local gun show. The difference is private citizen non-gun dealers selling guns do “not” have to ask you to submit to a background check before selling you any kind and any amount of weapons you so desire, hence the gun show loophole.

At one gun show in the U.S., but near the Mexican border, an undercover camera caught what appeared to be Hispanics, brazenly and with ease, walking up to American citizens who just left a gun show and asking to buy the guns the Americans had just purchased at the gun show, and these Hispanics were willing to pay cash right then and there.

Undercover cameras even caught U.S. citizens walking through U.S. Mexico border check points with backpacks and no one on either side of the border ever even asked them what they were carrying in their backpacks. This is just one way how weapons, ammunition and who knows what else is being delivered to the Mexican drug cartels and others across the border.

When a loved one dies and they read the will of the dearly departed family members may start fighting each other over what they feel they should be receiving from the deceased’s estate. To help combat this, when you write your will before you die consider putting in this clause. Anyone who “contests” or questions the decisions I made on who gets what after my death, those who contest this will shall automatically not receive anything from my estate after my death.

This type clause is legal in many states and should stop the family from fighting over what they think is rightfully theirs after you die.

If a food is labeled “natural” this neither means it is organic nor unprocessed nor pure nor free from pesticides. For anything other than meat or poultry there are no standards for the use of the word “natural” on food labels. However, for meat and poultry that is labeled “natural” this has nothing to do with what the animal ate or how it was raised for human consumption. It mostly means how the meat was processed and the additives that were used.

Remember, too often concerning too many food labels there is no government agency or independent organization that verifies what is printed on food labels before it is stamped on a product.

For example, when you see the food label “free range” chickens there is absolutely no assurance that the birds ever actually made it to the outside despite the pure, wholesome sounding name the words paint of livestock roaming around out in the sun enjoying themselves before the slaughtering process.

Moreover, “fresh” chicken in U.S. government terms means that the processed chicken is kept at 26 degress Fahrenheit and above. Consequently, a “fresh” broiler chicken is most likely to be hard enough to be used as a bowling ball but it can still be labeled as “fresh”.

Your typically unconscious body language says to others if you are feeling strong or weak at a particular point in time. However, in typical relationships with people if you want to persuade and exude power and dominance, first and foremost, you have to be trusted by those you are trying to persuade.

To win another person’s trust you must show a certain “presence” which does not mean just coming across as intelligent. To win trust you must also show passion, enthusiasm, strong postures, energy, confidence, authenticity, eye contact, captivating words, likeable personality and being comfortable in your own skin and the situation you are currently placed in.

If in life you are typically weak at coming across as trustworthy then your only other option is to “fake” it, but ideally, this does not mean “fake” it until you make it but “fake” it until you become it. This means, over time, and with tons of practice and opportunities, you turn yourself from feeling like an imposter to actually believing you are not an imposter and convinced in your own abilities and capabilities. Truly convince yourself and you can convince others.

In situations where you are trying to persuade others, they do not want to feel you are weak and vulnerable. You just need to know your own weaknesses and vulnerabilities and how to maximize your own potential into mental and physical postures of strength. To be successful one must always exude success even when you are not.

Antibiotics are used in farm animal feed and farm animals are raised for human consumption. The antibiotics may help decrease the spread of disease among the animals but there is also a greed aspect to the practice. Antibiotics also make farm animals grow faster and fatter for more lean muscle mass meaning more meat on their bones.

Another drug is also fed to a large percentage of farm animals raised for human consumption and it is called ractopamine. It also promotes fast and fatter growth.

You can choose meat products that were raised without drugs if the label says “certified organic.” Whole Foods and Chipotle Mexican Grill do not sell meat from animals that have been fed antibiotics and ractopamine.

Other meat package labels to look for are “no antibiotics used”. Also look for labels that state “animal welfare approved” or “certified humane” which indicates the prudent use of antibiotics in animal feed.
